QUALIFICATIONS:

Expert in the application of Coalescing Plate Separators and other separation technologies in treating water for removal of oily contaminants.  Broad experience in the design, testing, manufacture, and sales of liquid-liquid, solid-liquid, and vapor-liquid separation and filtration equipment. Experience in engineering, process safety studies, startups, and operations in refineries, gas processing facilities, and specialty chemical plants and design of equipment for production facilities, refineries, and chemical plants.

Training in biological processes, water and waste water treatment, hazardous waste handling and disposal, and various other environmental areas. Experience in cross flow micro filtration system design.

Responsible for design, estimating and quotation of various systems for liquid-liquid and liquid-solid separations.

Responsible for research and development for new environmental systems and a new filter system for service stations. Five patents resulted from these efforts. Please see the page entitled Patents for further information.

Performed project engineering and management for several major projects, including design, costing, manufacturing implementation, environmental and safety surveys. Wrote and presented four technical papers. Please see the page entitled Projects for further information. 

1984-1988 PERRY EQUIPMENT CORP. Mineral Wells, Tx.

Position: General Products Manager

Responsible for development of new products for the company. Duties included necessary engineering for proposed designs and project management of the product to

commercial production. Designed three new series of filter vessels. Supervisor of Applications Engineering Department. Responsible for sizing and process design of all filtration and separation equipment for the corporation.

1981-1984 PETROFAC, INC., Tyler, Tx.

Position: Process Engineering Manager

Responsible for Project Management, Process and Project Engineering for process units in the refinery and oil and gas production industries. Project engineering included design, specification, and safety/relief valve specifications. Duties also included construction liaison and startup assistance.

1979-1981 SCIENTIFIC DESIGN CO., Bellaire, Texas

Position: Project Manager

Responsible for all phases of engineering for projects as large as ten million dollars. Coordinated work of various engineering departments to ensure project scheduling and cost control were maintained.  Project Manager of engineering projects for several large chemical firms. Duties included review of design, scheduling, cost control, and client and construction liaison.
