Our customers
have problems separating mixtures of oil and water. Our mission is to solve those
problems by developing systems to separate the mixtures to the degree required.
We will help define the problems, offer top-notch engineering support and build
economical and reliable separators. We will try to help our customers anticipate
all possible design cases so that almost any event that might happen will be anticipated
and appropriate designs put in place before there is a problem.
We

Profile
MSR is
currently celebrating our first eight years in operation. The company was founded
in 2001 by Kirby Mohr, a degreed engineer specializing in filtration and separation
of liquids. Kirby holds degrees in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from
Iowa State University and Oklahoma State University respectively and is a Registered
Professional Engineer in Texas. He has thirty seven years experience in engineering,
with the last twenty seven specializing in separation and filtration.
Since
the company founding, we have completed projects in the Electric Utility , Oil
Production , Chemical Manufacture , Stormwater Processing , Transportation, and
Vehicle Maintenance industries . Our projects are very diverse, ranging from the
design of an oil water separator for a central US fire training school to two
very large separators for a large Canadian electric power generation facility.
Our systems have been installed from coast to coast and from Texas to near the
Arctic Circle and other international locations.
